Bells Reflections

Went for a walk down at Bells Rapids last weekend and was getting some nice reflections in the overcast weather, This area is one of the few nice river areas in the hills and there are plans to Develop the land there, If you have the time you can sign the petition on this site to try and help stop it.

Shapes and Colours

This is a shot taken down in Knox Gorge at the end where the gorge gets very narrow, challenging spot to set your tripod up! especially missing a rubber foot of your Gitzo!

Kermits Pool

Loved this gorge even after seeing a King Brown Snake 20metres after getting in the gorge but he seemed more scared of me then he thought I was! hate snakes, I learnt that morning that the first person in the gorges is the snake clearer haha after a bit of a walk you get to Kermits Pool the water is such a nice colour and the rock underneath the water aswell, first thing I did before taking photos was do a bomby in there! spent about 3 hours in there just taking my time and shooting.

Evening light

The most enjoyable times for me in Karijini was driving through all wide open areas in the magic hours and even just during the day so much to see and very unique landscape, pretty in its own way, this was taken driving the gravel road from Weano back to Dales Gorge one afternoon.

Karijini

These two shots were taken the first morning after arriving in Karijini, I arrived at oxer lookout the night before and the sunset wasn’t very impressive and I hadn’t checked in at the campsite yet so I decided just to sleep in the car not the best Idea when its hot and raining which made the car like a sauna lol In the morning though Was happy to see some nice light and got these shots, still going through images so stay tuned.

Back from Karijini

I arrived back from Karijini on Friday night, came back because of a few reasons, family emergency and ran out of storage space due to me spilling a glass of bourbon n coke on my Macbook……, heres a pic from my camp while I was there, Proper pics will be coming through probably next week or the next.

Prisoner!

Was out in Toodyay this morning looking for some more bush scenes I like the challenge of trying to find a shot somwhere in the hills out there, saw this hill with dead trees and the living tree in the middle and on the other side the hill with heaps of trees and thought it was a good contrast.

Perth Storm Sunset

Perth has had the biggest storm ive ever seen in my lifetime, but right at sunset there was a break in the clouds and I witnessed the best sunset Ive seen! the colours were insane, Thats a Rainbow and in the middle that light patch is Lightening in the distance, I desaturated this image quite a bit and the white balance is cool too.

Windy Lancelin

I took this shot a while ago and was just going through my folder of images and thought It would go well with a B&W conversion, I liked the big white cloud and the patterns in the dunes.
