Hamelin Bay

Quite a drive from Dunsborough to shoot Sunset and on the way there it looked like it was just going to keep raining but I didnt want to miss the chance it cleared a bit and it did! I thought this would be an easy spot to shoot but the amount of sea spray was crazy, need to find somthing that is good at cleaning salt off camera gear, any suggestions??

wow man, you’re getting some beauties lately!
love this one too, nice perspective with this shot.

not sure about the salt cleaner sorry. i’ve just always had some camera body cleaner pad things I got in a cleaning kit ages ago. it can be a pain shooting in conditions like that! having to clean your filters every chance you can, then the residual salt of course on your equipment.

Thanks again guys, Yeah stephen think maybe just some damp micro fibre clothes or somthing, cleaning the spray of the filters is the hardest part argh would be wiping them all the time the salt water is hard to get off, this shot was really close to the ground too.

Really cool shot William. Composition and colours are spot on! This one and your Sugarloaf Rock shot below are gallery shots mate!

Just wipe your gear with damp cloth but if its really excessive maybe take it to camera repair. All part of the job eh?

    Cheers Dave
